The CC BRA is a community organization whose mission is to support families of Curry County, Oregon with their infant feeding goals by connecting them to resources and peer-support.
What I do:
- Create, upload, and update content for the website.
- Administrate the Private Facebook page
- Apply and monitor local and regional grants
What have I helped organize?
- A public presence at the county’s annual parade and festival (2017)
- An active and collaborative partnership with local health authorities including WIC, and the local midwifery clinic.
- Grew group from 4 to 150+ members in 12 months, and met county and state breastfeeding goals for 5 years in a row.
